An innovative team of technology educators at Boise State University devised a new idea; an online system that allowed teachers to design their curriculum in a game-like, digital environment. We helped them design and develop the system from the ground up.
We wanted to make this a fun system to use, taking great care to make sure the user experience was intuitive while masking the complex functionality under the hood. After presenting multiple options, we settled on a dark theme that students said "doesn't feel like school"

We created a separate "reports" portal where teachers and administrators can log in to get reports and see analytics for their groups and students
We developed the front-end in hand-coded HAML/SASS with extensive use of CSS3 and jQuery to create a slick, seamless user experience
